Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Adours Safari Adventures. By booking a safari with us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking & Payments

  • To confirm a booking, a deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the safari start date.
  • For bookings made within 30 days of the departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or mobile money (M-Pesa).
  • Failure to complete payments on time may result in cancellation without a refund.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
  • Refunds will be processed based on the following schedule:
    • More than 60 days before safari – Full refund minus transaction fees.
    • 30-59 days before safari – 50% refund of the total amount.
    • Less than 30 days before safari – No refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or unused services.

3. Safari Itineraries & Changes

  • Safari itineraries are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, park regulations, or operational needs.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable experience if changes occur.
  • Any changes requested by the client after booking may be subject to availability and additional costs.

4. Travel Documents & Health Requirements

  • All travelers must have a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity) and any necessary visas.
  • It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure they have received required vaccinations (e.g., Yellow Fever) before travel.
  • Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal liability is strongly recommended.

5. Liability & Responsibilities

  • Adours Safari Adventures is not liable for any loss, injury, illness, or damage suffered during the safari.
  • We are not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by airline cancellations, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
  • Guests participate in safari activities at their own risk and must adhere to all safety instructions provided by guides.

6. Wildlife & Safety Regulations

  • Clients must follow park regulations and avoid disturbing wildlife.
  • Feeding, touching, or getting too close to animals is strictly prohibited.
  • Night game drives and walking safaris should only be done with an authorized guide.

7. Accommodation & Transportation

  • Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. If a specific lodge or camp is unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative.
  • Transportation will be provided using 4×4 safari vehicles, safari vans, or light aircraft (for fly-in safaris).
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for lost or stolen items.

8. Photography & Marketing

  • Adours Safari Adventures reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during safaris for promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish to appear in marketing materials, please inform us in writing before your safari.

9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Any complaints should be reported immediately to the safari guide or tour manager.
  • We will make every effort to resolve issues promptly.
  • If disputes arise, they will be settled through mediation or arbitration in accordance with Kenyan laws.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
  • Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Kenya.
